Abstract:
This presentation will begin with a brief introduction of modern packaging and manufacturing techniques such as 3D transistors. The presentation will then discuss state-of-the-art of IC design, such as the industry trends and hot topics in digital, RF, mixed signal and power electronics. The presentation will use the 5th generation Wi-Fi as the application example and a sub-1v low-power ring-based PLL as the design example. The presentation will conclude with a performance prediction of a few selected IC products.
Bio:
刘雄博士2000毕业于复旦大学电子工程系，2004和2010年获得 UCLA (加州大学洛杉矶分校)电子工程系集成电路方向的硕士和博士。目前是全球第四大芯片公司Marvell的高级项目研发经理, 设计/大规模生产了90/65/45纳米和业界最先进的28纳米CMOS工艺的超大规模集成系统芯片(SoC), 占全球千兆以太网1/3市场份额，和1/2 的硬盘控制芯片市场份额，良率(Yield)在99%以上，年销售额达20亿美元。刘雄博士是IEEE Senior Member, 有多个中美专利, 发表多篇IEEE期刊及会议论文，担任IEEE TCAS II, IEEE ISCAS 等国际一流期刊的审稿编辑, 同时兼任美国西北工业大学客座教授, 新家坡南洋理工大学特聘合作伙伴。
