Abstract: At UCL HUB of Intelligent Neuro-engineering (HUBIN), the research vision of my group is to develop new-generation wearable medical imaging & health monitoring technologies with a miniaturized profile, a lightweight form factor, multi-modal functionality, and high imaging resolution. My group is exploiting advanced engineering approaches including optoelectronics, microchip design, signal/imaging processing (AI enabled), and wearable electronics to realise a sophisticated platform that will enable the creation of a range of wearable imaging and sensing devices that will offer unprecedented spatial-temporal resolution and patient comfort.
报告人简介：Hubin Zhao，英国伦敦大学学院（UCL）助理教授，博士生导师，学院执行委员会委员。伦敦大学学院智能神经工程实验室（HUB of Intelligent Neuro-engineering, HUBIN）团队创始人和独立负责人，伦敦大学学院医学部Aspire康复工程和辅助技术中心共同负责人，伦敦大学学院工学部DOT-HUB中心共同负责人。赵教授在电子工程和神经工程领域拥有深厚背景，独立带领由10名博士生和20余名硕士生组成的研究团队，致力于世界领先的先进电子、神经工程和医疗技术的交叉领域研究。迄今为止，赵教授已经发表了60多篇经过同行评议的论文，并获得了多项国际专利。赵教授的主要研究兴趣包括 1）可穿戴、可植入和非接触式医学成像、传感和健康监测技术，2）针对医学影像和医疗保健应用的人工智能（AI）硬件，3）BCI、人机互动、康复监测与治疗等技术的研发与应用，4）以及先进的医疗电子、微电子和光电子的相关医疗应用。
