Abstract: Future wireless networks are expected to carry emerging traffic with diversified performance attributes, in order to promote the initiatives in Smart City including Internet of Thing, wireless sensor network, Industry 4.0 and Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. Beyond conventional content distribution, where throughput of a wireless network is most relevant, a range of new applications appear, such as industrial automation, self-driveling, augmented/virtual reality, and remote surgery, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication. This requires the future wireless network to support massive machine-type communications (MTC), demand ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (URLLC) and provide cloud/edge computing services, while costing less energy consumption, i.e., achieving a high energy efficiency. However, the fundamental performance limit and relevant design methodologies are still open, while in this talk, I will discuss my ongoing researches addressing these issues.

 

报告人简介:

胡钰林,2007年获哈尔滨工业大学工学学士学位,2011年获中国科学技术大学工学硕士学位,201512月获德国亚琛工业大学电子工程博士学位。 20161月至12月,任亚琛工业大学TI研究所博士后研究员。20171月至今,于亚琛工业大学ISEK研究所任职高级研究员、面向智慧城市的先进无线网络课题组负责人,指导硕士研究生共10人(已毕业4人)、合作指导博士生3人。

主要从事无线通信、物联网、5G的研究,在超低时延超可靠网络通信、移动边缘计算网、无人机通信等方向取得了多项创新成果。近五年在JSAC,TCOM,TWC,TVT等国际权威期刊和国际会议上发表论文40篇(以第一作者发表10篇中科院1-2区期刊), 累计引用210余次。第一作者论文获IEEE ISWCS 2017 IEEE PIMRC 2017会议最佳论文奖。 2018年当选IEEE资深会员(Senior Member) Physical Communication期刊(中科院4区)、EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking(中科院3区)编委。主持并参与多项德国国家级及亚琛工大校级科研项目。
