English-Taught Master's Programme of Electronic Information

Program Introduction

This is a 3-year full time English-taught program majoring in Electronic Information. There are two optional tracks in this program:

Track 1 (Fudan Master’s Degree)

Students can choose this track for a 3-year study at Fudan University. After the completion of study, students will receive the Master Degree from Fudan majoring in Electronic Information. Students will not be registered at or exchanged to University of Turku (UTU).

Track 2 (Fudan-UTU Double Master's Degree)

Students who have been admitted by Fudan University aiming at getting double master’s degree can apply for the study right at UTU, Finland as well. UTU will select students based on their eligibility, study success (at Bachelor's level) and interviews (in English). English proficiency is ensured during an interview. The selected students will have a mandatory one semester (according to the current arrangement it is the second semester) exchange to UTU, Finland. After completing this program, students will receive the Master Degree from Fudan majoring in Electronic Information and the Master of Science Degree from UTU majoring in Robotics and Autonomous Systems.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition fee at Fudan for international students is 180000 RMB/program (Scholarships opportunity https://iso.fudan.edu.cn/isoenglish/wrospectivewwtudents/list.htm)

Tuition fee at UTU is 4000 Euro/program for non-EU/EEA students (no tuition fee for EU/EEA students). Students also need to pay health care related fees and Student Union fee to UTU.

Students in Track 1 only pay the Fudan tuition fee.Students in Track 2 should pay tuition fees to both universities.

(Please note CSC or Shanghai Government Scholarship will not cover UTU related fees)

Degree requirement

In addition to course work, students in this program will follow her/his supervisor to conduct the thesis work. The thesis should be written in English. The abstract should be written in both English and Chinese. A publication or patent application is required before students apply for the degree(s).
