1. What is the application procedure?
Please read the Admission Instruction. You can also check the International Student Office website for more information.

2. Can I apply for the scholarships?
Three types of scholarships are available for all the programmes in the School.
a). Chinese Government Scholarship (Bilateral Program) (apply through the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your country).

b). Chinese Government Scholarship (Chinese University Program) (apply through Fudan University)

c). The Shanghai Government Scholarship (apply through Fudan University)

3. Can I apply for the programmes by email?
We only accept applications through the online system http://admission.iso.fudan.edu.cn/

4. Do I need to get a Fudan supervisor's acceptance before doing the application?
If you apply for a doctoral programme, please make sure you have already contacted a supervisor in the School of Information Science and Technology and got her/his acceptance. The supervisor's information is required in the application system.
For master level application, the supervisor's information is not required.

5. If I am not admitted or if I quit the programme, can I get the application fee RMB 800 back?

The application fee is not refunded. We review your application only after the application fee is paid.

6. Where can I find the result of the scholarship application?
Please always check the International Student Office website http://iso.fudan.edu.cn/ where you can find the latest news.

7. Is the hardcopy document required?

Yes. Please send it to the mailing address below only after you see your application is approved in Fudan's system.
