Prof. WU Jia-Da

Biography

Prof. Jia-Da Wu received his MS and BS degrees from Physics Department of Fudan University in 1982 and 1987. From 1982 to 1984, he worked at Southeast University. Since 1987 he has been a faculty member in Fudan University, during which time he got his ph.D. degree in optics. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 scientific papers in Science Citation Index journals. He is now a professor in the Department of Optical Science & Engineering of Fudan University, editor of Journal of Functional Materials and Devices, and vice chairman of Optics Education Committee of Chinese Optical Society.

Main research areas include:1generation, characteristics and applications of plasmas; 2principles, technology and applications of optical spectroscopy; 3preparation and properties of semiconducting optoelectronic materials
