Fudan Signs MoU with IMEC and KU Leuven
On the afternoon of June 2, 2017, Fudan University, European Microelectronics Research Center (IMEC), and KU Leuven Signed the Memorandum of Understanding for Education and Research Collaboration. Executive Vice President of Fudan University BAO Xinhe, Vice President of IMEC Rudy Lauwereins, and representatives from Fudan's Foreign Affairs Office and the School of Information Science and Technology attended the signing ceremony.
Founded in 1984 and headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, IMEC is one of the leading research organizations in Europe, focusing on microelectronics, intelligent systems, and information and communication technologies. KU Leuven is a top university with nearly 600 years of history, and recently has been regarded as the most innovative university in Europe.
According to the MoU, the three parties will work closely in the field of micro-nano electronics, especially on internet of things and the intelligence industry, which will foster new prospects on joint teaching, research activities and talent cultivation.
