A delegation from Hanyang University, Korea led by Professor Jaehoon Choi, the Dean of the College of Engineering, visited the School of Information Science and Technology(SIST) on August 30. Professor Ran Liu, Dean for Internationalization of SIST attended the reception. This visit was focusing on promoting a yearly workshop held alternately between the two schools, and revising and finalizing the Letter of Intent for the future collaboration. The Letter of Intent will be formally signed in October.

Hanyang University is a private university in South Korea. The main campus is in Seoul, and the second one, "ERICA campus" (Education Research Industry Cluster at Ansan), is located in the city of Ansan. Hanyang's School of Engineering is one of the oldest engineering schools in Korea.
