MoU signing between SIST and College of Engineering, Hanyang University, Korea

Soon after the last visit in the end of August, Professor Jaehoon Choi, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Hanyang University leading the 4-people delegation visited the School of Information Science and Technology (SIST), Fudan University again on the morning of October 22. Dean of SIST Professor Lirong Zheng and Dean for Internationalization Professor Ran Liu met the school's old friends in the 2nd meeting room of the Physics Building, where SIST is located.
The Deans signed the Memorandum of Understanding regarding mainly five collaboration areas:
1. Exchange of students, faculty members, scholars, and researchers
2. Coordination on research, lectures and symposia
3. Exchange of data, documentation and research materials
4. Mutual implementation of innovative ideas
5. Organization of joint workshop once a year in an alternate way between the two Schools
The two sides decided to place the first joint workshop in Seoul, Korea next year, and Shanghai, China after that.
