Ms. Pia Viitanen, Minister of Housing and Communications of Finland, visited the School of Information Science and Technology (SIST) on 14 November 2013 with a 10-people delegation. During her visit, she was invited to communicate with faculty members and students of SIST and give a lecture on the theme of Digital Services Change the World. Professor Ran Liu, Dean of Internationalization of SIST hosted the whole event.

In the end, Ms. Nie, a student representative of the FDU-UTU Joint Dual Master Degree Programme, described their intended learning outcomes in this programme and expressed their expectations in the coming year study in the University of Turku and life in Finland, which won the big applause of the Minister and the audience.
