Innovative Plasma Researches in AIST

Abstract

AIST has studied many kind of plasma technologies for achieving advanced interdisciplinary researches. Especially, I will introduce recent highlight as follows:

1. Medical applications

2. High current density ion beam

3. Gas purification

4. Study on streamer branching phenomena (plasma assisted combustion)

5. Graphene sheet production using plasma

 

 

Biography

Dr. Hajime SAKAKITA works as a group leader of Innovative Plasma Technologies Group in Energy Technology Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST)
