Biography
Dr Xiao Liu is currently a lecturer at the School of Engineering and Design, Brunel University, UK. Before that, he was a research assistant and later a postdoctoral research associate in Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at University College London. He received the B.Eng degree in Information Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China in 2003, the M.Sc. degree in Microelectronics Systems Design from University of Southampton, U.K. in 2004, and the Ph.D degree from University College London, U.K. in 2009. His main research interests include analog and mixed-signal circuit design for biomedical applications, neuroprostheses, sensor design, and wearable technologies.
Dr Liu is a member of Biomedical Circuits and Systems Technical Committee of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society and on the editorial board of Journal of Biosensors and Bioelectronics. He serves as a TPC or RCM member for many international conferences and organized several special sessions on neuroprosthetic circuits and systems.
