Curriculum Vitae

Prof. JIANG Yi

Biography

Yi Jiang received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering and information science from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in 2001 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, both in electrical engineering, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. From September 2005 to May 2007, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO, USA. In May 2007, he moved to San Diego, California, and worked for multiple companies, including NextWave Wireless (May 2007 -- September 2008), Qualcomm Corporate R&D (Sept. 2008 - May 2012), IAA Incorporated (June 2012 – Feb. 2013), and Silvus Technologies (Fe. 2013 - July 2016). His work ranged from PHY algorithm design for WiMax, interference management for femtocells, and PHY/MAC design for mobile ad hoc networks. He has published about 50 journal and conference papers. He joined Fudan University in August 2016.

Research fields
Array signal processing, PHY/MAC of wireless communications, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Matrix Optimization.
